Looking for a timely Tuesday Shoesday post, I turned to a requirement for our cooking class: "[w]ear casual clothing and comfortable, CLOSED-TOE SHOES, and please no high heels."
I found a couple of kitchen shoes that satisfy our requirement while not being sensible shoes - you know, the ones that in movies squeak as you walk? But I also found that traditional british sensible shoes are on the decline.

Now with sensible Mary Janes who can blame women?
Marcelle Clog by Dansko
$130 from Endless and Clogs Central
Marcelle Cordovan Cabrio by Dansko
$97.75 from KlogZilla (regularly $115)
Savanna Clog by Dansko
$106.98 from Amazon
As I'm actually in the market for some comfortable shoes that I can wear when commuting as well as in the kitchen, a pair or two of these clogs might be headed soon for my closet.
