Update: Each Day We Rush Home to More RSVPs

With 18 days to go to our RSVP date (August 20th), we have:
  • 40 RSVPs (plus 7 who are unable to attend, 6 adults and 1 child)
  • 19 Requests for Beef
  • 13 Requests for Chicken
  • 6 Requests for Ravioli (Vegetarian)
  • 2 Unknown Entree Choices
In case you're wondering less than 50% of our guests have sent in their RSVPs. Many guests have been writing notes to us on their RSVP postcards so we've been rushing home to check our mail.
As other brides had warned, some RSVPs have come back to us without a name. Luckily, we devised a super low tech way to match RSVPs with their guests.

We numbered each RSVP. Sneaky huh? With the glossy coating on the paper we didn't think invisible ink would stay on the card as it traveled through the mail.

  1. Your RSVP postcards are fantastic! I love the notes you're getting. Who needs a guest book with those?

    Also, sneaky numbering system. :D
